SpeaD and ReverseSpeaD are software tools designed for anyone working with loudspeakers – manufacturers, engineers, OEM’s and their customers. They make the process of designing and specifying speakers faster, easier and more accurate.
When SpeaD and ReverseSpeaD were introduced in 1999, the standard for loudspeaker development was mostly trial and error. You started with a known design if possible and then made changes you hoped would reach the new targets. Most times this took 3 or 4 designs and new samples to reach the goal.
SpeaD and ReverseSpeaD changed this by designing the speaker in the virtual world of the computer. For the first time accurate predictions of a speaker’s performance could be made before a single part was assembled.
Since its introduction, the software has continued to be refined and advanced features added. Today it is the premiere loudspeaker development tool. It is used if virtually every major loudspeaker factory in the world and has become the standard for development and communication between them and their customers.
