Klippel LPM — Thiele/Small Parameters
The LPM module determines the linear electrical and mechanical parameters of electro-dynamical transducers with high precision in the small-signal domain.
Linear parameter identification
The LPM module determines the electrical and mechanical parameters (Thiele/Small parameters) of electro-dynamical transducers. In contrast to the LSI module — which identifies the large-signal parameters — LPM focuses on the precise measurement of the small-signal domain parameters.
Best-accuracy methodology
For best accuracy, we recommend running the LPM test with a supplied Mmd, or with two driver samples (one of which can be destroyed). When that's not possible, we use a correlation between the laser method and the added-mass method to produce a best approximation.
What the test delivers
Results include the full parameter set with extended inductance models, the impedance curve, and a complete set of test-condition data confirming the accuracy of the test.
